I first heard this song last week while watching Akeelah and the Bee. I love it! And I like that it's getting more publicity, due to a remake of this song coming out last year.

I found out that bubkes is a word in the dictionary today. That's what I'd call a successful day!

P.S. I realize that the fashion industry didn't solicit my opinion, but I'm not sure that I like this trend toward shorter prom dresses. It's basically the one time until your wedding that you can wear a long gown and not be overdressed!
