So needless to say, camp finished off well. I loved being a fox, although it was definitely more emotionally challenging. The kids are a lot more aware of the reality of their illnesses...but I swear that knowing how much the kids went through made them even more amazing, and I wouldn't change it for anything. I loved how people at that age had such vivid personalities.

The big news is that I got into my first graduate school! Washington University in St. Louis. It's a great program, and I'm looking forward to visiting it Jan 12-13. I also have a friend from Chicago who is working at WashU this year, so I'll get to see her, too. That has, all along, been tied for my top choice with Creighton University in Nebraska. I think that would be a school I really enjoy too. Every administrator that I've talked to there has been so friendly and down to earth. And I am 400 times more a country girl than a city girl. So, I'm still going forward with that application.

Anyhow, as promised to Papa, I will post pictures of each of those schools HERE when I visit!
