Morale is good in the show-me state

Context: The Cardinals LOVE sprinkle doughnuts...particularly Albert Pujols. He believes that sprinkles are imbibed with special powers. He has led the team in taking sprinkle soaks (aka filling the empty training room whirlpool with sprinkles), eating sprinkle doughnuts, etc etc. The team has embraced these rituals.

Tweets from twitter...
'Coach McGwire brought the doughnuts in this morning. "Doughnuts, you must eat. Extra sprinkles, they have. Power, they will give you." Pujols walked around with a giant sprinkle shaker, of his own design, pouring extra sprinkles on everyone's doughnuts."Give me a straight shot, Albert," said Berkman. He opened his mouth & Pujols poured in the sprinkles. Berkman woofed them down Puma-style.'

1 hour later:
Context: after too many guys were left on base (LOB) vs the Phillies in game 3, the cardinals ordered lobsters and Rhodes made lobster bisque. They rebounded game 4, and of course went on to win that series.

A delivery man showed up smelling of fish. "I'm looking for a Lance Berkman? A. Lance. Berkman." "That's me!," said Berkman. "Sign here." "Where would you like the crates?" asked the delivery man. "In by the hot tubs," said Berkman. In came 10 crates of LOBster.

To Rhodes, Berkman said, "Chef, I'd like some LOBster tacos today with sprinkles." "It's unheard of," said Rhodes. "But I'll give her a try" Chef Rhodes cooked up a culinary delight in his LOBster tacos. The sprinkles, a perfect garnishment. Berkman are 6 all by himself." The Brewers had better beware," said Berkman. "After eating these LOBster tacos with sprinkles I don't see us leaving too many men on-base"
