Highs and Lows of a Cardinals Fan

-Losing Wainwright, Holliday (~4x), Freese (2x), and Pujols to long stints on the DL.
-Lance Berkman carries the team in Pujols' absence. Still NL central leaders! Woo Lance!
-Pujols makes a quick recovery.
-Down and out for the count. Mid-July to August. 10.5 games back.
-Insane September. Will we do it?! Looking good!
-Tough mets and cubs loss on consecutive days. "The Cards' chances dropped drastically with the pair of results. They now trail Atlanta by three games with five to play." Must win four out of the next five, and have the Braves lose all in order to get in for sure.
-We face the Astros. They face the Phillies. We can do this!
-WILD CARD.
-Down 1-0 and 2-1 to Philly.
-Come back to win 2 must win games.
-Everyone's predicting the Brewers will win. We don't believe it for a second, but it does get wearisome.
-Win NLCS.
-WS: Up 2-1. Fail to produce. Down 3-2. Two must wins. Game 6 low lows and high highs. Torture. Ultimately win.
-Manager LaRussa retires.
-MIKE MATHENY! Was gunning for him, despite his lack of experience.
-"Best player of his generation" Albert Pujols turns down Marlins. Went to bed thinking, like Skip Schumacker, that I was going to wake up hearing that he signed with the Cardinals. Oh, hi Angels. Adios Pujols.
-SIGN CARLOS BELTRAN.
-MIGHT SIGN ROY OSWALT. Confident that Dave Duncan could get him back to where he needs to be, and it'd be two great fits as far as character.
-DAVE DUNCAN IS GONE. One of the BEST PITCHING COACHES ever. Carp always says that he's confident that he would have been a mediocre pitcher without Dave. We all support his decision. He has his priorities right in taking care of his wife, who's been battling a brain tumor since August. That makes 3 cornerstones of the organization gone, though.
